The day and time of trash pickup in your area depends on a number of factors. As BVR Waste and Recycling Customer, you can access your pickup schedule here.

Wheel your cart to the street and place them curbside by 7 a.m. on your collection day. Remember, do not overload carts and ensure the lids are completely closed. Make sure that all trash and debris is in the cart. Waste left beside the cart may not be collected.

The following hazardous household items should NOT be treated as everyday garbage and should NOT be included in your curbside carts:

Vehicle Batteries

Electronics

Fluorescent light bulbs

Paint and paint cans

Used motor oil and filters

Prescription medications

These items can go into your recycling bin, as long as they’re clean and dry:

Plastic bottles & containers

Food & beverage cans

Paper

Flattened cardboard & paperboard

Non-recyclable materials should be placed in your standard trash bins. Be certain that your trash bins or carts are not overloaded and that their lids can close all the way.

Plastic bags (these can be returned to your local grocery store for reuse)

Ceramic dishes, cups and glassware

Juice boxes

Foam cups or packing materials

Front-load dumpsters and rear-load dumpsters generally have the same holding capacity. The difference is the way the truck picks up and empties the dumpster. With a front-loading dumpster, the container is lifted and emptied over the top of the truck cap.

With rear-load dumpsters, the truck connects directly to the face of the dumpster. These dumpsters are more ideal for tighter spaces.

BVR Waste and Recycling will consult with you to identify a location(s) that is easily accessible for our trucks and drivers and is safe for your customers and employees.

Commercial trash pickup is once per week, with additional days available by request. We make it easy to up-size your container or arrange for additional pickups based on peaks or the seasonality of your business.
